It took some time but I'm officially a working resident of England.
However, here are some tidbits from before I left home:
My grad gift to Ryan- a day at Six Flags! It was PERFECT- hardly any lines and overcast so it wasn't 105 degrees like it normally is. Wonderful.
The next night I went out to eat at my restaurant, Kyma, with four of my best friends: AmberJoy, Taggart, Pri and Kelly. They were really great to us <3 and then we all went next door to 'Rose Bar' [always to us it will be Beluga] and they gave me a lovely sendoff shebang.

On my last day Ryan had his graduation party at the house. It was so nice seeing everyone before I left... but it also made it seem so REAL... and so daunting.
Since it's Father's Day this upcoming weekend I surprised my daddy and gave him his gift early- tickets to see his favorite musician, Jimmy Buffett, at Lakewood. It was an INCREDIBLE concert. The old guy still has it!
And then I got a surprise! Look who was standing right in front of us on the lawn at Lakewood- Becca! She was a hostess at Kyma once upon a time. What a small world!
And then ANOTHER surprise! Jimmy brought his buddies Alan Jackson and Zac Brown to sing a song each with him! WHAT?!! I'm a big country fan [guilty as charged... but gimme a break, I grew up in the South] so I was ELATED!
It was the best way to spend my last few days in the States. I'm going to have so many postcards to keep up with sending!
